Somewhat related; I accidentally spilled ink all over my sketchbook while refilling a black marker. Even with my regular piece of protective paper under the page I was working on, it managed to soak through a further 6 pages!

Looks like I’ll be doing a bunch of pieces with black backgrounds to hid the splodges.

I’ve always loved Lego, so it was great to find a prompt that worked so well with it!

Also, after these last few heavily inked background pieces, my poor brush pens have finally died. RIP brush pens, you will be missed (that is, missed until I go to the store tomorrow and buy some new supplies…)

Just a quick one this week as I left to go on a road trip to visit my grilfriend on Friday and only came back this evening (which is why this is a bit late and scrawled onto a piece of paper I had lying around).

So excuse the roughness and you can expect a cleaner sketch this Thursday!
