I’ve always loved Lego, so it was great to find a prompt that worked so well with it!
Also, after these last few heavily inked background pieces, my poor brush pens have finally died. RIP brush pens, you will be missed (that is, missed until I go to the store tomorrow and buy some new supplies…)
Great drawing! My kids are Lego nuts (I am too) so they often draw Lego in an attempt to design sets. I keep meaning to draw some of their Lego figures. They are such fun.

Thankyou very much! Lego is just great, but the endless searching for the right piece got too much for me years ago, so I sorted it all into colour and certain types. I definitely underestimated the length of time that would take (it went on for months as I chipped away at it in small sessions). Definitely have a crack at drawing some though, I found it really fun

I was forced to do the same thing some time ago, sort it all by colour and type. I actually blogged about it (https://pictinpa.wordpress.com/2015/12/18/lego-as-a-metaphor-for-immigration/ if you’re curious). I should definitely draw some of my sons’ minifigures at least.

I just read though your post and holy; the fact that you basically had to do it twice (albeit in two different ways), that is patience and dedication to the next level. I’m really glad you did get through it all in the end!

Thanks for popping over and reading. Yes, it just about drove me demented.
