Drawlloween/Inktober day 19
Even though Inktober and Drawlloween have come and gone, I liked the prompts so much I have figured I’ll use them for my “sketch weekly”s until I get through them all! This week’s prompt was “Creature from the Black Lagoon”.
In other news, I upgraded to windows 10 and now my Seagate 2TB hard drive will no longer talk to my PC, not very happy… Luckily enough I back all my stuff up to the cloud, but still.
In other other news, a group of independent comic creators I’m a big fan of are in the last leg of a KickStarter campaign for a “Star” based comics anthology called Starrytellers. I definitely recommend having a peep at what they have been working on, and helping them reach their goal if you like what you see (I’ve already placed down for two copies, so I’m really hoping it all goes through!).

I’m really delighted to see that there are a *lot* of folks who are still going with Inktober! I had so much fun, I’m having a hard time redirecting my efforts to other projects. I think we *do* need a bigger month! Looks like you’re on a roll with some great work, and that’s fantastic.
I really love the illustration at the top of the post. Well done!

Thankyou very much (your art for the month was fantastic too)! I enjoyed it so much too that working on sequential story/art for mini comics is a struggle coming off the back of so many one offs! Ah well, I’ll keep to posting inks at least once a week, hopefully getting my other projects done over the remaining six days ;D

I hear you. I always worked digitally until trying Inktober; now I’m having a hard time switching gears back to that.
